it's Jaxon's 1 1/2 birthday! :)
I might not have done this if I wasn't pregnant...I'm not quite sure :) What pregnant woman can pass up an opportunity like this to have chocolate cake!?
I think the cake made his day. He wouldn't stop "talking" about it afterwards ;)
If it made Jaxon that happy I think it was so worth it! Especially if you got your chocolate cake too :) I know a family who celebrates half birthdays all the time - nothing wrong with that!
ReplyDeleteLibby just turned 15 months on the 19th...I think it might be a good idea to make some chocolate cake to celebrate that! :) Seriously, I think it's great to celebrate our kids as much as we can. It's good for them to know and feel that they are super special to us. Over the last year, I've tried to say "I love you" more to Liam just out of the blue. We've started this thing where we say, "I love you a million red mustangs" and he will say back, "I love you a million red m&ms." I love the bond that little people have with their parents. We are still so cool in their eyes. I pray that through the ups and downs of growing up we can continue to be approachable and learn how to show our love practically and uniquely to Liam and Libby. In some way that doesn't scare them or make them too terribly embarrassed to have me as their mother. :)
