I have friends coming over tomorrow, so I used that as an excuse (and to celebrate Spring, of course! ;o)
My "butterfly" is a little warped, but it's cause I just started making a shape and then decided as I went that it would be a butterfly :)
Another excuse was that I got this new cake decorating set given to me by Darlene...a sweet lady from our church. It's from Pampered Chef and I wanted to give it a try. It's neat. It was surprisingly easy to do the writing. That's always the hardest part for me, but it was so easy!
How fun that you made that cake! And it's so cheery looking! :) Not to mention, DELICIOUS looking! You did a great job! I've never been a huge cake person, but the past few years, I've really started liking it! But it has to be a moist cake for me, if it's dry I don't care for it much. Do you? You mentioned you have friends coming over tomorrow - is it your friends that you get together with on thursdays? That's so neat! Love you and can't wait to have you guys here in a couple weeks!!!
