31 Weeks
Me and my big belly at 31 weeks. I feel pretty huge. Strangers come up to me in the store or wherever I am and for some reason want to know whether we're having a boy or a girl and when I'm due and then they proceed to tell me either a) "Oh, you're pretty big!" (thanks!), b) "You've got a while to go!" or c) "Oh, that's coming up really soon!" I tend to like option "c" better.

Hey, don't feel huge... people just make these stupid comments without thinking how it makes us feel!! I think I look about the same as you, and since we're due around the same time, isn't that a relief? It's nice to know that we're 'normal' prego mommies! Just think, we're over 3/4 of the way there!
ReplyDeleteI always thought it was kind of neat when total strangers would come up and talk to me.. it was always interesting what people would come up with next to say! :) I must say that I think you're having a girl:) talking about strangers, I don't know if you know me, we've met at NBI at some point and you know my brother and sister-in-law, Jordan & Valean Doerksen :)
ReplyDeletePeople can be so rude at times. I think I'd probably enjoy my moment being as big as a house, since I'm a small person. I always say "a big belly = a well fed baby".
